A liberal judge replacing a liberal judge. I can feel the mountains moving already.
Al wants to be a cog in the machinery of history ("they'll remember what I said for decades to come!") but nobody really cares. She'll get confirmed and the court will move on, business as usual.

Now if a conservative justice steps down....... (duck and cover)

Jeff, it would be great if you could include a partial transcript, or at least a general summary, with all the videos you post without comment these days. I'm sure I'm not the only person who reads your site only while in a location where viewing (and/or hearing) videos isn't possible. Just a thought/suggestion.

Way to go, indeed... the point can never be made enough that the other side basically considers Supreme Court decisions as "judicial activism" only when it doesn't like the decisions.

Thanks, Jeff, for posting this terrific clip. I'd missed it and will point others to it. Senator Al!
