This...?

Last night's fireworks-over-the-Hudson kick-out (which I saw from the New Jersey side) was fine. Whatever. But it didn't hold a candle to that euphoric lightshow that burst out of the Eiffel tower nine and half years ago in Paris. The kids and I were there, standing a couple of blocks south, open-mouthed. Once in a lifetime.

That was a millennial celebration; this was business-as-usual, and quite spectacular from my West Village vantage point.

Can't wait until you go to a local AA baseball game and report back breathlessly, "Took the boys to see the Trenton Thunder last night. The team played fine, but nothing compared to Game 7 of the 2001 World Series..."

Yeah, I think the Eiffel Tower-show was from when Duncan MacLeod took that dude's head there, that one time.

This is my first time i have a look at this blog. I came across so many interesting stuff in your blog specifically this discussion. From the bunches of responses on your articles, I guess I'm not the only one getting all of the fun right here!
