Perilous Stuff
If you were an independent DVD retailer, would you have gone into the store yesterday and put up a special Roman Polanski standee-display near the front? Like, you know, the way stores put up special displays whenever a major actor dies? When the iron is hot, strike it. And speaking of irons, this clip from a certain Polanski film carries an echo of what's in the air right now.

No. It is tasteless and risks offening current and future customers. That being said, stores will certainly be ordering in extra copies of his classics and the clerks will know exactly where to find them on the shelves.

Did you ever see "The Fearless Vampire Killers?" Polanski flick, which when I saw it, in the 60's I believe, thought it was amazing. Sharon Tate in it, too.
