Michael Moore spoke following last night's Capitalism: A Love Story screening about why he's still pretty much behind President Barack Obama...for now. And yet his last words on the subject were "maybe my next film will be about him."

I thought Moore was done with docs? Does this mean he's teaming up with Tyler Perry for the Obama Biopic?

When the time comes and the mainstream media and the Kos/HuffPo/MoveOn.org kids finally turn against Obama (unless things change with the economy this will happen around X-mas time), don't doubt that Moore will start planning a movie attacking him from the left.
You can already sense the unrest amongst the far-lefties... broken promises, 10%+ unemployment, Gitmo's still open, we're still in Iraq and Afghanistan, the civil freedoms that Bush took away haven't been reinstated, etc.
Moore's got to wait until his niche audience crosses that line... When John Stewart and Colbert start ripping the President on a daily basis, THAT will be Moore's canary in the coal mine moment and his cunning plan will begin.
I'm just curious, do you think that Moore supports the concept of a one-party autocracy like Thomas Friedman does as demonstrated by his recent New York Times column?
My guess is yes, considering how he's cozied up to Castro and Hugo Chavez in the past

My guess is that Moore believes we more-or-less already have a one-party autocracy -- the corporate interests party.

Best quote ever about Michael Moore...
My friend: He's the one person in America I'd take a dump on.

@LYT
This must have been a recent revelation to Moore, then. He seems to think it's really important to have Dems in office. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it kinda belies any 'one-party' views he holds.

What is the most revelatory part of Crazy l'il Mowkeka's post?
1) That Mowkeka's alleged "friend" allegedly said something so asinine?
2) That Mowkeka thinks that his "friend's" quote is the "Best Quote Ever" about Michael Moore? (Really? About Moore? Out of all of your fellow wingers' many delightful quotes about him over many years, that's the "best ever"?)
3) That Mowkeka apparently believes that any commenters here would find such a quote the least bit memorable, witty or incisive?
Even our dimmest regular wingnuts on HE can come up with something cleverer than that in their sleep.

"This must have been a recent revelation to Moore, then."
Not if you pay attention, he's said it for years, and yes, he has reluctantly supported the Democratic Party as the lesser of two evils for years as well, and, he's addressed this issue on numerous occassions.
