I was given ten minutes of Carey Mulligan time late this morning. Three minutes of standing around and chit-chatting with her publicist and seven minutes of actual taping time. I don't want her playing girlfriends any more. She needs to be the star of the next few films, and it would be nice if she could speak with her natural British accent every so often.

She is NOTHING like Michelle (who is a very talented young actress) but also very shy and dull in interviews, she doesnt do the big press crazyness very well.

Ten measly minutes (or seven, actually)? After all the space and time you've spent promoting their film -- even before they took out the ads! What's wrong with these idiots? Don't they realize that the more goodwill they give to outlets that give their movies raves, the more people will show up and actually buy tickets? I mean, I can understand ten minutes for a TV news channel that will run maybe 10 to 15 seconds of video for their report, but you usually run entire interviews. Hell, they give David Poland a half-hour, and his website gets less traffic than you do (according, at least to Alexa's reach, page views and traffic statistics for the past two years. Jeez!
