I definitely agree rayciscon that it's painfully true.... but in terms of impersonation he is terrible as Obama... He just looks like he's talking normally as himself.
why isn't the media focusing on the one person who should have been pimping Chicago to the delegates: Michael Jordan? Who is the most popular athlete in the world over the last 2 decades? Michael Jordan. Who is the athletic symbol of Chicago? Michael Jordan. Who considered Olympic gold a peak of his career? Michael Jordan.
Who didn't show his bald head in Copenhagen to pimp the Windy City for the Olympics? Michael Jordan.
Pele was there for Brazil. Jordan was probably too busy being bitter about the kid in 2nd grade that go picked before him for a recess kickball game.
With about 15 seconds left, Armisen says "just kidding" and slouches back in his chair. And when he did that, I stopped chuckling and started getting concerned. There's truth in that moment.
Obama has been behaving like the kid who was most likely to succeed, got elected class president, and calls is good? Is he just a charismatic dilettante? I hope not. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have slick left-leaning vapidity than clumsy right-leaning ignorance, but man. Get your hands dirty. Do some heavy lifting.
In fairness to Obama, a good deal of this is the result of putting too much on one's plate. I imagine he wants to be like FDR - taking the opportunity to ram through a TON of "you'll thank me later" game-changing social programs - but he may have misjudged just how much of FDR's ability to do so was owed to the 'cover' provided by WWII and the Depression.
It seems like there are two options with Obama: he is either a tool of what is a wholly fucked up system, or he has been bogged down by the worst of what our government has to offer. I get the feeling that in some naive way he figured he'd get into office and start getting things done. He never struck me as overly progressive, but rather a sensible mainstream style of moving the country forward. Then he gets into office, realizes everyone has their hands out, has to deal with a bunch of pissy little lunatics on both sides of the aisle and the degenerates that follow them. Furthermore, he has also discovered that the financial community - much like the military community - is an unmovable object; the kind of pricks who are so self-interested that they set the standard for the politicians that allow them to get away with murder. Either way, I'm not quite ready to shun Obama or give him my sympathy. He was handed a now-overlooked bag of shit that I wouldn't wish on anyone. It's still waaaay too early to write him off. Remember it took Bush/Cheney almost an entire term to completely ruin this country.

He seems to have completely dropped any effort at mimicking Obama's voice. The impersonation was pretty good during the election.

@MovieBob:
Maybe Obama should wait until his third term as President to enact the REALLY TOUGH legislation?

You answer the question that doesn't require any thought, but the one that does is ignored. Ok.

No, he just chose to answer the question that didn't require a 500-page thesis to begin to even scratch the surface.

I love how people think they can demand answers & explanations just because they don't agree with something.
Like the people in the other threads "demanding" that Wells answer their questions.
