Did reading this just ruin the ending of 'Up In the Air' for me?

Dargis, in for the kill today. "Alas, excesses of any pleasurable kind are absent from this exasperatingly dull production." She later calls it "pretty as a framed picture and and as inert," which pretty much sounds like par for the biopic course.
The really weird parallels are between "Up in the Air" and "Away We Go." Both feature protagonists hopping between American cities (with each new setting announced by a handsome title card), search for family in a disconnected modern world. They're really similar (and both fairly mediocre in my opinion, though "Up in the Air" is a lot more entertaining).

I found it to be a somewhat glaring mistake but when they showed Amelia flying over Gambia, they made it look like the Serengeti.
I was in Gambia earlier this year, it's the smallest African country by far, and if you want to see wildlife, you'd need a copy of BBC's Planet Earth.
