If I hadn't wandered into an upscale framed-poster store in Chelsea, I probably never would have visited the IMDB page of this 1969 Vittorio Gassman-Sharon Tate film, which has an English-language title of 12 + 1. It was Tate's last film. She was three months pregnant and starting to show very slightly when production began in March 1969. Movies have been my faith and religion all my life and I've never heard of this thing. It'll almost certainly never see a DVD release.

yeah, regarding Sharon Tate. She was murdered by the Charlie Manson gang when she was pregnant. Terrible.

I'm not sure, but I think they also carved the fetus out of her belly.

The artist's rendering of Tate in that poster bears a resemblance somewhat to Sunset Gun's Kim Morgan. Or Morgan bears resemblance to said rendering, I should say.

I hope and think she'd take that as a compliment.

One of the Manson girls said she had thought of carving the nearly-full-term child out of Tate but decided not to do so. Tate had pleased for her child to be spared. His name was Paul Richard Polanski.

and back on topic: I remember the morning that the Tate/Folger etc murders was discovered .....I was a flight attendant with United Airlines with an LA layover. Hotel wasn't too far away from the site....
Sharon was so beautiful and for that murder alone and the way it happened, none of the Manson gang should ever be allowed out..ever. I don't care how sorry they are now.
