(l. to r.) The Hurt Locker's Jeremy Renner, The Messenger's Ben Foster,Everybody's Fine costar Sam Rockwell, A Serious Man costar Richard Kind at last night's Gotham Independent Film Awards -- Monday, 11.30, 7:15 pm.

A Serious Man star Michael Stuhlbarg, Mai-Linh Lofgren -- 11.30, 7:07 pm. (When asked about The Hurt Locker, Ms. Lofgren said she hadn't had the pleasure.)

Big Fan director-writer Robert Siegel accepting the Gotham's Breakthrough Director award.

Adventureland costar Ryan Reynolds, Zodiac costar Anthony Edwards. (I wasn't 100% dead sure it was Edwards when I first saw him last night-- he looks fine but the image I have of his face in Zodiac is somewhat different. It's not a rumor -- wearing a rug does make you look younger, even if it clearly looks like a rug.)

Wall Street Cipriani before anyone had really arrived.

Ryan Reynolds and Anthony Edwards kind of look like Before & After shots to me in that photo. I'll let you decide which is which.

Stuhlbarg's face looks bleached or something. Like he's not quite finished wiping the clown makeup off his face.

I wouldn't have been able to ID Renner from that photo. Maybe it's his expression.

Richard Kind has come a long way since Spin City. He was the highlight of "A Serious Man" for me. (Loving the "Inglorious Basterds" ad at the top of the page.)

raygo:

Actually, I think some bald guys are cute, but it depends WHY they're bald. For instance, I dig the skinhead look. I hate to admit this, but I think some cholo's (with bald heads) are kind of hot.

there, I said it!

I think Anthony Edwards should have played Ryan Reynolds' dad in "The Proposal"...not Craig T. Nelson.

Glenn - Jeff gets mad at women who haven't heard of 'The Hurt Locker'. He doesn't care if they actually see it so much, but he's really upset when they haven't gone out of their way to pay enough attention to have heard about it.
