I have to get a rental car and drive all the way the hell up to frigid Syracuse this afternoon to pick up Jett and take him back down for the holidays. I'll be staying there this evening and thereby missing the Nine premiere and after-party in Manhattan.

Wow. You'd rather attend the premiere of a movie you know you'll hate by a director you despise than spend some quality time with your son. Dare I suggest that a person with such messed-up priorities probably shouldn't be raising a kid in the first place?

Wow. Back down, snapping dogs. Wells never said he'd PREFER the premiere to seeing his boy. He only said he'd be driving "all the way the hell up to frigid Syracuse ", which - as anyone who's been there knows - is absolutely the truthful way to reference that trip.
