Call this a nice paycheck gig for a lot of people who didn't let pride stand in the way. Christina Applegate and Fred Armisen have actual acting roles, and I gather that Michael Clarke Duncan, Neil Patrick Harris, James Marsden, Bette Midler, Roger Moore, Nick Nolte and Chris O'Donnell voice animals. Is that right?

How deaf are the people who made this film and particularly those who are planning on seeing it? Deaf to God's symphony, I mean. One time at a party some drunken friends and I gave a golden labrador two or three bowls of beer and got him stinko. He was losing his balance and rolling around on the floor. The same instinct (i.e., to laugh at animals coping with human bullshit) resulted in this film.

Does anyone remember Robert Downey, Sr.'s Pound ('70)? Just asking.

You're joking about the 3D part, right? This is the left eye and the right eye of the trailers streaming side by side. You just can't wear 3D glasses and magically make it 3D.

Who's idea at WB was it to make a sequel to a nine year old movie? Aren't most of the rugrats that watched the original film teenagers now?

This looks awful. No more talking animal movies, ever, please.

Wells, that's hilarious!! So sophisticated and elite of you and your bum-chums! WTF is it with you and dogs, man?? Get one drunk, lose another off a balcony?? I'd rather be hip-deep in the company of Transformers-watching mouth-breathers, than hang with assholes who can't, or worse, actively refuse to, provide responsible care for a trusting dog; a friend.
And it's either a yellow Lab, or a Golden Retriever; two different breeds.

Speaking of movies with animals in the title - has anybody here seen DOGTOOTH? The most seriously fucked-up movie I've seen all year - and I mean that as a compliment. I spent the entire movie saying to myself, "This just can't get any more disturbing," and then it does.
