It was okay with me. This was a fairly unusual occurence. Most of the time the response to a subway platform performer is mixed -- some enjoying, some ignoring, some in and out. But everybody was down with this guy. No dissenters. There was something a little Hendrixy about him also. The fluid guitar playing, I mean.
With apologies to Marie Mille this is as a good an opportunity to post that THE FORTUNE and ISHTAR are airing as part of TCM's "Summer Under the Stars" tribute to Warren Beatty tomorrow (8/9):
