It's a bit unusual for a Toronto Film Festival party to go 14 hours straight. The hosts will be obliged, of course, to serve not only breakfast but also lunch on top of a gargantuan amount of alcohol. What festivalgoer would want to revel this hard? I'm not identifying the hosts, of course, but I'd give the idea a re-think if I were them.

or typos. It's really annoying when an apostrophe is used to denote plurality (typo's, 1980's) when no apostrophe is required, needed, wanted or should be anywhere in the vicinity.

Wells to robbiefantastic: No, really -- it's a 14-hour party. Did you think I was kidding or something?

This would have been a good party after the screening of 24 Hour Party People.

No, really Jeffrey, Command + Shift + 3. They go right to your desktop and you can crop in Preview. Not that hard at all.
(Command + Shift + 4 if you only want a certain part, once again, right to your desktop)

I'm generally no fan of chain restaurants-- not even the high end ones-- but those who think Ruth's Chris is better than Morton's have clearly had unfortunate experiences.
Morton's not only serves a better steak, I've never had anything less than exceptional service at a Morton's location (RC is good... but the service always gets spotty there).

If you want to get really pedantic, the invitation clearly states that the party doesn't actually exist in our time-space continuum. Considering that there's no such thing as 12:00 pm. It's like dividing something by zero, a paradox.
I would be very careful attending such an event. Bring the Doctor.

Thanks for posting that, Billy B. I mentioned the screen shot tip back on the The New MCN thread a couple of days ago, but I guess Jeff missed it. I love Apple products, but they've never been very good at documenting these details and most of the time I've had to pick them up from other users...

Not on Earth it is. Ont his planet, 12 noon is 12 noon. P.M. means "post meridiem" which means after noon. You can't have noon and after noon at the same time. That's like having both tea and no tea in your inventory.
I can understand the eloi getting this wrong, but an invitation should always, always, ALWAYS indicate whether it's noon or midnight.
