I thought Radcliffe was supposed to be half-Roma (which I imagine would result in coloring more like an Italian dude.) But who gives a shit, this looks gorgeous.

Unsure about this one. Wildly mixed reviews from Venice. Heathcliff says something like "You're all a bunch of cunts!" at one point. It's like they tried so hard to make it the anti-Masterpiece Theatre edition that they'll end up alienating all the fans of the book. Also, from her interviews and comments, Arnold did not seem happy with it at all and made a lot of references to how difficult it was to film.
But hey, it could be interesting.

Like the gritty and sparse style of the trailer. Close-ups of repulsive insects should be universally banned by law however.

It it had not had a title card, I would have thought it was a commercial for jeans or a bad perfume.

I think you may have the trailers mixed up--this looks like the next Malick film.
