I think it has less to do with an inability to post b/c of travel, and rather an attempt to elicit comments from her readers that they'll miss her oh so much. Like when people threaten to quit Facebook.

There's also Jeff's take, to which some people would reply: some people actually do try to get away and take real vacations. Being self-employed, there's no better get-away than the one where no one can contact you because of isolation (hello, King's Canyon).

I have heard of people able to chew gum and walk at the same time. What amuses me is this is the same person that was complaining about how lame Circus de Soleil was at the Oscars, etc, etc. It seems her brain only functions when everything else is at rest. Oh my. I hope it is not permanent.
