I'm Back

I've been MIA for the better part of two months, and a lot has transpired in that time:

My brother deserves a pile of medals for making it through chemo as well as he has so far. My mother deserves more than anyone could ever give her for taking care of both him and my father (who himself had a debilitating stroke in late 2008).

I'm weeks upon weeks behind on disc reviews/impressions, which will be summarized in a few gargantuan posts.

I have a few things to write up from Fantastic Fest, which has been over for a couple of weeks, but still...

I left Apple to take up employment with none other than Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas and the various brands that are connected to it. I'll have more details to share on that next week. This doesn't mean Arthouse Cowboy is going away, not in the least. I'm covering bits of the Austin Film Festival starting this weekend, for example.

I'll have more things of substance tomorrow.
