A 6:30 pm screening of Matt Johnson’s Tony later today is the impetus for my second visit to Astoria’s Museum of the Moving Image.
My first visit (7.21.04) was about catching a restored 70mm print of The Searchers, but I felt so burned and flim-flammed by the substandard quality of the print or projection that I left early.
