It’s called “Analog Desires.” Douglas Reese, a serious admirer of James Bridge’s 1984 film, posted it five and half years ago. If you’ve never seen the film, it might be better to do that first and then watch Reese’s assessment.
Wiki excerpt: “James Bridges wrote the film specifically for Debra Winger, having worked with her on Urban Cowboy (’80). Filming began with production by The Ladd Company in May 1982, and was completed the following August. After disastrous preview screenings in January 1983, distributor Warner Bros. Pictures demanded a re-structure the original version, which had been a reverse-chronology from Betty’s subjective point of view, to a traditionally told chronological story.
