Lasser enjoyed two career peaks — Woody Allen‘s girlfriend and creative collaborator over a 14-year period — What’s Up, Tiger Lily?, Take the Money and Run, Bananas, Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex and Stardust Memories, and her televised, 18-month-long Mary Hartmann Mary Hartmann period (early ’76 through mid ’77, 325 episodes). She later developed creative relationships with Lena Dunham (Girls) and Todd Solondz (Happpiness).
Lasser and Allen were married between 1966 and ’70. She was 87 when she passed on 7.6.26.
