I’m sorry but “Dirty Love“, a track from 1973’s Over-Nite Sensation, is the only Frank Zappa song I know the lyrics to. It’s the only Zappa song I know, period. I always loved his humorous album and song titles — “Dog Breath,” “Weasels Ripped My Flesh,” “We’re Only In It For The Money” — but it never got much further than that.
From Wiki page: “Zappa wanted to use backup singers on some Over-Nite Sensation songs (‘I’m the Slime’, ‘Dirty Love’, ‘Zomby Woof’, ‘Dinah-Moe Humm’, ‘Montana’). His road manager suggested The Ikettes, and so Ike & Tina Turner were contacted. Ike insisted that Zappa pay the singers, including Tina Turner, no more than $25 per song.During the recording sessions, Tina brought Ike into the studio to hear one of her recordings with Zappa. Ike listened to the tape and responded ‘What is this shit?’ before leaving the studio. Ike later insisted that Zappa would not credit the Ikettes on the album.”
