Last June I reported that Paramount would open Rupert Wyatt, William Monahan and Mark Wahlberg‘s The Gambler in the “mid to late fall.” And then I missed the trade announcement that ran on 9.5 (i.e., the first day of the Toronto Film Festival) that it’s being given an awards-qualifying run on 12.19.
