Yesterday I tried listening to portions of Taylor Swift‘s “The Life of a Showgirl“, and I’m very sorry but the music and her voice in particular just went “thud” all over again. I listened and nothing happened.

You know what did get me? Frank Sinatra and The Fifth Dimension singing “Sweet Blindness” 57 years ago. It was performed on a November ’68 special called “Francis Albert Sinatra Does His Thing“.
