This is a very happy moment for many of us…the actual best movie in this vein (i.e., alleged comedy or musical…Globe bullshit) actually won. The most dynamic and delightful mind-bender of the year!
HE congratulates KOTFM ‘s Lily Gladstone for the success of her (and Apple’s) damn-the-torpedoes campaign. Identity over performance (and a passive one at that). Hey, it’s been working all season for the most part!
And of course, Oppenheimer (as expected) wins for Best Motion Picture, Drama. Oppie sweep, Oppie sweep, Oppie sweep.
The best moments of the evening were the Poor Things, Emma Stone, Paul Giamatti and Da’Vine Joy Randolph wins. Very gratifying!
