Boy and Bicycle was the first film made by Ridley Scott, and it’s significant today because the kid on the bike was Tony Scott, then about 18 years old. The 27-minute, 16mm monochrome short was lensed in 1962 while Scott was a photography student at the Royal College of Art in London.
