I’m very sorry about the shocking ski-slope death of 37 year-old French actor Gaspard Ulliel. I thought he was fascinating in Bertrand Bonello‘s Saint Laurent, which I saw in Cannes in May 2014. I also respected his performances in Xavier Dolan‘s It’s Only The End of the World (’16) and, 12 years earlier, Jean Pierre Jeunet‘s A Very Long Engagement.
