Truer words have rarely been recently spoken. It’s right below in black-and-white, but here’s my favorite excerpt: “The thing that I hate right now is that [film] criticism isn’t about [film] criticism any more — it’s about ‘how woke is this thing?’ And ‘is this woke or not?’ is a weird way of judging art.” Hats off to Sasha Stone for saying this clearly and concisely.
