The valiant, never-say-die, pretty-much-doomed defense of Ukranian soldiers against the Russian invaders is reminding me of the "fuck it" attitude of William Holden, Ernest Borgnine, Warren Oates and Ben Johnson at the finale of Sam Peckinpah's The Wild Bunch.
