(l. to r.) Tatyana Antropova, Scotty Bowers, Matt Tyrnauer following Friday’s 7:30 pm Arclight screening of Scotty and the Secret History of Hollywood. A nice soiree at the Chateau Marmont followed, honoring Tyrnauer’s just-released film but more precisely the great, indefatigable Scotty.
As a huge fan, I’ve posted a few times about Tyrnauer’s film — here’s a summary.
Tatyana’s remarks: “I liked the whole mood and dynamic of the film. First-hand history — facts — about the reality that gay people in Hollywood dealt with in the old days. Scotty Bowers’ spirit, energy, passion for life, humanity, memories — all held inside for years, obviously means a lot. Scotty has a very clear mind for a 95 year-old. He gave very precise answers durng the q & a. His His eyes are vivid and full of life. I’d like to have his energy when I hit my 90s.”
