Isn’t it fairly common for psychopaths to wax positive about iconic entertainers or movies that they feel represent them on some level? Didn’t John Dillinger allegedly admire this or that Hollywood gangster flick (i.e., James Cagney in Public Enemy)? Didn’t Joseph Goebbels, the top-dog Hitler propagandist, once talk about his admiration of Alfred Hitchcock‘s Foreign Correspondent for what he saw as expert pro-western propaganda?
